Another day , another night
Not ending arguments all the time
Harsh words hurt so much
Cruelty in you never seems to stops
Promises broken long time ago
Expectations kept reminding
Every day this goes on and on
Nothing new in my own little world
Your heartless words made me cry
Your anger break my soul
Every thing hurt me deep inside
But I hide the pain and try to smile
You ripped my soul day and night
Cant you see the hidden tears
I slowly rise every time I fall
And you keep crushing me all over again
I cry silently and no one hears
I need a love who cares so deep
I keep wondering what wrong I did
And do every thing to make things right
I try hard to make you happy
But you keep breaking my heart
Was loving you a crime so sin
Please tell me why you hurt me so much
Every time I want to free my self
My innocent heart keep running back to you
You are the only world I know
And I'm a prisoner in my own little world
I feel lonely and sad
I need love and passion
I want to tell you how I feel
But you never care for this poor soul

Felt very touching and i would simply call this male dominance . As long as we have this, woman will never have peace or will own their lives . Men control women still in countries like India , Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other asian countries and women still don't have courage or power to fight these assholes .

Very beatiful poem. In our man dominated society where women are sometimes very naive and mostly have very limited options in life, everyday suffer the same way. Men do so becaue they know she can't even protest.

Very well written and indeed very sad to know such pain . I saw a comment here saying it's male dominance , but if a man is treating his own wife badly and prisoned her then i think he is mentally sick and need medical attention . Male dominance is something else which is similar but yet not heartless as this .

very emotional poem and again it shouts of male dominance in our society. Women are shoulder to shoulder with men but the thing is men still see women as helpless humans who are lost with out men in this world ...how wrong these men are !!!

Goodness , this is very emmotional . This modern society don't have male dominance any more and it rearly exist . Most SL women work and highly educated and i don't think women will tolerate this kind of action from a man ....but what i see is this woman loves her husband and would do anything to make her marriage better .. it's sad that this his husband don't value his own wife . Wife is the only woman who would love her husband like a mother , sister , friend , and a lover and if a man can't see that either he is blind or mentally sick . Keep up Sajini, you have a blog which take silent pain in women hearts to the world in a powerful manner .

Thank you for your comment . This is very common in this society and it is very sad . people have lost the value of relations by running after materialistic things in life . As you say only if this husband would understand , not only the marriage but life it self would be beautiful . -

@ Thank you for the wonderful comment and yes most Asian countries are still under male dominance and it is time that men understood that women are also humans with feelings and should respect them . It will take some time to get rid of this male dominance but it will happen . The new generation is more powerful in action than we are and they will not take it and will fight back that they are worth the same . -

Thank you for your lovely thoughts and i agree with you . Though in this modern society men still treat women as helpless humans and take them for granted . A woman is not a maid to fulfill his desires when he wants and to be kicked out once he goes for another and even marriage don't allow another human to be mistreated . -

Thank you for your valuable comment and you did point out the fact that this is not male dominance yet similar to it . Male dominance have the power over the family and the man acts as the head and should be consulted first at every event and with out his authority no one in the family can do anything .....but here the man/husband treats and respect his wife and with in his boundaries and will make her happy .....But if one acts beyond that and mistreat them it's a shout which should be heard by the world ... -

Thank you for your comment and for encouraging words on my blog . I agree with you that this kind of act will not be tolerated by the modern women in SL society . These women nowadays are much independent and educated that they will stand up against it or will walk out , but some who are dependents or helpless may remain just of fear of being alone or for the shame from society . Nowadays you rarely see these kind of acts but they still exist . -

The poem gives present way of so called life.. always women are suffering even then she is educated Hard working and helps the Family. But the falls ego of husband makes him animal Ruined whole life of family. To me do not give daughter to a uneducated boy. It's crime, Always take more care before Marriage to our daughter from the suffering..
