Side by side we lay under the warm night sky
Your arms around me , wrapped so tight
A touch soft and tender, a whisper full of desire
Gasp of sweet surrender as passion flares the fire


Your lips on me, sweet and soft
Feeling the gentleness of your touch
I gazed upon your face and see a smile
Listening to the sound of your silent breaths

One night only is all I asked for
No words spoken in between
Feeling the desire for you on this night
Just you and me under the stars

Longing to hold together
As our time is so little and precious
This night is all I have of you
For today , tomorrow and for ever

Thank you so much for your comment. This poem is about two lovers who are thousand of miles apart and this is about a secret love where even one night of togetherness will keep that love strong for years to come.
